The months of build up to The Glory of Scotland finally was realized on the evening of June 4th. A wonderful performance and enthusiastic crowd made this evening one to remember. The cast performed brilliantly under the leadership of Maestro Sean O’Boyle. What a wonderful evening celebrating all that is Scottish. Thank you to all those who came to the show and thank you to our cast. We will miss you all!

Well the orchestra meets up tonight to run through the program and then tomorrow it’s dress rehearsal and showtime. So exciting for us all at thegloryofscotland.com. Our kilts are being pressed as we speak!
The show will be fantastically entertaining. World and Canadian premieres in this show! A cast of a 100 all geared up and ready to go. All the colour and pageantry one would expect from a Scottish celebration.

Well last night was a scorcher. Temperature wise and rehearsal wise! This show is going to be awesome. Almost everything was in full gear last night. All were there except for the orchestra.
What a talented group of performers from The Toronto Police Pipe Band, to The Scottish Dance Company of Canada to The Glory of Scotland Choir to the brilliant soloists Robert, Len, Edward, Suzanne and Charles to our amazing fiddler/dancer Julie Fitzgerald to the Rosedale Childrens’ Scottish Country Dance Group to pianist Brett Kingsbury were in full gear.

Well Tonight, there is a lot of excitement in The Glory of Scotland LAND…..we have our first run-thru will the whole cast (except our intrepid orchestra). Finally, many aspects of the show shall meet in one place and we get our performing juices really running. The sound of the powerful Highland dancers, the roaring bagpipes, the brilliant singers, our talented pianists, our amazing fiddler and our wonderful choir will fill the air as we work our way through most of the numbers of the show! All this under the baton of Celtic musician extraordinaire Maestro Sean O’Boyle! We can’t wait for the baton to drop and the music and dancing to begin!
